The Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM), Europe's largest annual human rights and democracy conference, is organized every year by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as a platform for 57 OSCE participating States, Partners for Co-operation, civil society, international organizations and OSCE structures to take stock of the implementation of the human dimension commitments, discuss associated challenges, share good practices and make recommendations for further improvements.

You will also find below the “Fact sheet about HDIM”. The annotated agenda of the Meeting will be posted in the days ahead of the Meeting.
Registration:
Online registration for all participants is available at http://meetings.odihr.pl. Participants wishing to attend are requested to register preferably by Wednesday, 3rd September 2014. The registration will also be available after the date; however, early registration would be highly appreciated to facilitate the preparation of the HDIM.
Participation in the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting is free of charge, although all travel and accommodation costs should be borne by participants. The following documents might facilitate accommodation arrangements: ‘List of chosen hotels in Warsaw”, “Hotel special rates”, Booking form to Sofitel hotel where the meeting takes place, as well as to the Novotel hotel.
Registered participants will be able to collect their badges at the Meeting’s venue as of Monday, 22nd September, from 8 a.m.
Side Events:
Side events may be held over the course of the Seminar. Institutions and organizations wishing to organize a side event are requested to register it at their earliest convenience, by filling out the checklist and send it to Mr. Ireneusz Stepinski at ireneusz.stepinski@odihr.pl by Friday, 5th September at the latest. Requests are processed on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability of rooms. More details are available in “Information for Civil Society” and “Checklist for Organizers of Side Events”. Additional information on the content and objectives of planned side events, as well as on timing and duration, will be made available on the website prior to the event.
