In December 2011, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic invited ODIHR to observe the 10 March early parliamentary elections. Following a Needs Assessment Mission (NAM) to the Slovak Republic from 23 to 26 January 2012, the OSCE/ODIHR NAM did not recommend an election-related activity for the 2012 early parliamentary elections.
