Election observation mission
Parliamentary and Presidential Elections, 3 and 17 November 1996
Following notification from the Permanent Mission to the OSCE that Romania welcomed the presence of international observers, an ODIHR monitoring mission was conducted in respect of the parliamentary and presidential Elections held on 3 November and the subsequent presidential second ballot held on 17 November.
