About
ODIHR is organising a workshop to support the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC) in reviewing its regulation “Rulebook on Media Coverage of Political Entities From the Day Elections Are Announced Until the Election Day” (the Rulebook).
The event will bring together representatives of the CEC, the Communication Regulatory Authority (CRA) and journalists’ associations, Press and Online Media Council and Mediacentar Sarajevo.
ODIHR will present an analysis of good practices in other OSCE participating States, within the applicable international obligations and standards, to serve as comparative examples for the discussion on potential amendments to the Rulebook,
ODIHR assistance to the process is part of the Office’s Support to Electoral Reforms in the Western Balkans project, funded by the European Union and the Austrian Development Agency. The project supports institutions and civil society in their efforts to follow-up on election observation recommendations.
