About
ODIHR is supporting NDI Albania with organizing a two-day workshop, on 18-19 March 2022, on campaign finance reform, with particular focus on the regulation of non-contestant campaigners; specifically third parties and social media. Designed as a consensus-building forum for multiple stakeholders, the event will discuss the goals for regulating non-contestant campaigners and social media in the Albanian context.
ODIHR is helping to organize this event as part of its Support to Electoral Reforms in the Western Balkans project. This supports institutions and civil society in their efforts to follow-up on election observation recommendations.
Target audience
The event will bring together key stakeholders including members of the Ad Hoc Parliamentary Committee on Election Reform, media and legal experts, as well as representatives of election administration and campaign finance watchdogs from civil society organizations.
