The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) carries out election observation in OSCE participating States to assess whether the elections comply with OSCE commitments, other international obligations and standards for democratic elections, and with national legislation.

History

The local elections in Ukraine on 25 October 2015 is the 300th time that ODIHR has observed elections since establishing its comprehensive election observation methodology.
