Experiences and Coping Strategies of Women in Politics - Tool 6
Tool 6 complements the other tools by presenting the strategies used by individual women politicians to respond to and cope with violence. Documenting these coping mechanisms may be a valuable form of support for women politicians dealing with violence against women in politics, especially where institutional mechanisms are ineffective or absent. Sharing women’s experiences should also complement efforts already in place to address this problem.
