Webinar

The webinar was opened by Inid Milo, Head of the 2020 Albanian OSCE Chairmanship Task Force, followed by keynote remarks from Tarja Halonen, former President of Finland, with her reflections about the state of democracy and human rights in today’s world, 30 years after the Copenhagen and Paris documents. She then joined a discussion with Juergen Heissel, Director of the RFOM Office and Christophe Kamp, Director of the HCNM Office.

The discussion, moderated by Katarzyna Gardapkhadze, First Deputy Director of ODIHR, focused on the progress made in advancing human rights and democracy in the OSCE region since 1990, where we are now and what we should prioritize going forward.

The moderator also provided a space for participants to ask questions.
