Report
5th Report on Monitoring of Freedom of Peaceful Assembly in Selected OSCE Participating States
This report presents the main findings of the monitoring of public assemblies undertaken by the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in selected OSCE participating States between September 2019 and November 2021.
During this period, ODIHR directly observed assemblies and related activities in line with its mandate to support participating States in the implementation of their commitments on freedom of peaceful assembly. The monitoring exercises focused on specific events on the basis of established criteria. The main goal of the monitoring and ensuing analysis was to identify gaps and challenges, as well as examples of good practices, in how participating States meet their human dimension commitments on the protection and promotion of freedom of peaceful assembly.- Date:
