About
ODIHR is organizing a meeting with civil society organizations, academia and international organizations to discuss how to improve and strengthen the rule of law in Poland. The meeting will feature presentations by experts and interactive discussions among the participants.
Background
OSCE participating States have made commitments to ensure the rule of law and the independence of judges. Participating States consider that the rule of law does not mean merely a formal legality that assures regularity and consistency in the achievement and enforcement of democratic order, but also justice based on the recognition and full acceptance of the supreme value of the human personality and guaranteed by institutions providing a framework for its fullest expression.
The meeting is not open to the general public. Those interested to participate may contact ola.quarnstrom@odihr.pl.
