About
The main goals of the visit are:
- to assess how ODIHR electoral recommendations have been implemented;
- to discuss possible initiatives to address the outstanding recommendations.
To that end, ODIHR has scheduled meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the State Election Commission, the Parliamentary Committee for the Reform of Electoral Legislation, the public broadcaster Radio Television Montenegro and the Agency for Electronic Media, and with representatives of civil society organizations and the international community.
ODIHR will share with key official electoral stakeholders the conclusions of the visit and highlight the additional steps that should be considered ahead of future elections.
The visit is organized as part of the three-year Support to Elections in the Western Balkans project. The project is funded by the European Union and the Austrian Development Agency.
