About the event

This one-day, in-person event in Berlin will bring together representatives of Transparency International chapters and public integrity practitioners from across the OSCE region.

The event will combine a moderated panel discussion on public integrity standards with an anti-corruption simulation delivered by Crisis Simulation for Peace (CRISP). Through the simulation, participants will engage with realistic stakeholder dynamics surrounding public integrity and anti-corruption reforms.

To create an immersive learning experience, the workshop will use an augmented simulation format supported by an AI-integrated digital interface. This will include an adaptive storyline, live scenario updates and a real-time feedback system.

Outcomes

The concluding discussion will inform Transparency International’s Regional Brief and its forthcoming Standards for Integrity in Public Decision Making.

The Bootcamp will be followed by the SAFE Democracy Network Training and Exchange, taking place in Berlin on 16 and 17 September 2026. The event will provide a practical space for peer learning on data-driven approaches to countering undue influence.
