ODIHR works to ensure that migration policies and practices respect the human rights and dignity of migrants and refugees. We support participating States, civil society and other partners in translating human rights standards into practical policies and action.

Our work focuses on two closely connected areas: supporting the integration of migrants and refugees into their communities, and protecting their human rights at international borders.
