About
ODIHR's Tolerance and Non-Discrimination Department, in partnership with UNESCO and the Council of Europe, is organizing a roundtable meeting on countering intolerance against Muslims within the context of societies in transition.
The objective of the meetings is to discuss the key aspects of the Guidelines for Educators on Countering Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims: Addressing Islamophobia through Education, which were jointly prepared and published by the three partner organizations. The event also seeks to share regional experiences with policy makers, such the representatives from Ministries of Education, educational institutions for professional development, as well as pre- and in-service teacher training institutions.
