About
Trainers from the S.A. Niyazov Police Institute under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan will gain a further insight into the different teaching methodologies to elaborate and deliver training on the protection of human rights in the fight against terrorism. They will also deepen their knowledge of the key human rights issues that arise while countering terrorism and ways to protect human rights in line with international standards and OSCE commitments.
The training is based on ODIHR’s Countering Terrorism, Protecting Human Rights handbook, and follows a similar training session delivered to Police Institute students in November 2010.
