About the event
In the framework of its project “Supporting the Human Dimension of Security in Ukraine in Times of Crisis”, ODIHR is convening a cross-party consultative meeting in Warsaw bringing together members of the Verkhovna Rada, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention and civil society representatives.
What the meeting will cover
The meeting will examine the latest draft amendments to the legislative pieces, and consultations on way forward to develop effective parliamentary system and explanatory guidelines. A visit to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on the second day offers direct exchange with parliamentary counterparts.
The meeting will close on next steps, timelines and commitments. Expert presentations, moderated discussion and group work will contribute to the joint effort, providing insight on practices in other OSCE participating States, notably on guidelines and implementation mechanisms.
