Serbia: ODIHR Opinion on the Revised Draft Law Amending the Law on Financing Political Activities (as of May 2026)
This Opinion assesses the extent to which the recommendations contained in ODIHR’s Opinion of 11 May 2026 have been reflected in the revised Draft Law. The analysis examines each of the recommendations set out in the previous Opinions and assesses the proposed amendments in light thereof.
The present Opinion is limited to the revised Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Financing of Political Activities (LFPA) and should not be regarded as a comprehensive assessment of the broader legislative framework regulating elections and political parties in Serbia.
