About the event
This event held in the parliament of Montenegro brings together the Working Group participating in the accessibility assessment of the Parliament of Montenegro for persons with disabilities to present the findings and recommendations of the final report and to begin developing an action plan for implementation.
The event has two components.
In the first part, ODIHR will present the findings and recommendations of the Accessibility Assessment of the Parliament of Montenegro for Persons with Disabilities, covering the methodology and scope of the assessment, key findings across the assessed areas (Representation, lawmaking, oversight and access), and key recommendations for each area.
The second part is a facilitated workshop to translate assessment recommendations into concrete action plan activities, with the output serving as the basis for a draft Action Plan to be adopted by the Parliament.
Participants
The event is intended for members of the Working Group participating in the project on accessibility assessment of the Parliament of Montenegro for persons with disabilities, as well as broader participation from the Parliamentary staff and MPs.
