About
About
In the context of increasing criminalization of migration and criminalization of solidarity with migrants and refugees, ODIHR organizes a two-day, in-person training course in Warsaw on conducting trial monitoring of migration-related cases in OSCE countries. The training will provide knowledge on trial monitoring in terms of fair trial standards, applicability of ODIHR trial monitoring methodology in the migration-related cases, data collection and analysis and advocacy strategies. The event will also serve as an opportunity for human rights defenders from different countries to share their experience, challenges and successes when monitoring migration-related trials.
The training is based on interactive learning methods and requires a high level of active participation by all trainees.
The course is conducted in English by experienced trainers with proven gender and cultural sensitivity.
Registration
This event is upon invitation only. Up to 19 participants selected to participate are working in: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Spain and Türkiye.
