About
A new episode of Starlight Stadium, an online game for human rights defenders (HRDs) developed by ODIHR, will be launched on 8 June 2023 at RightsCon, the world’s leading summit for human rights in the digital age.
A gamified version of ODIHR’s Human rights monitoring, safety and security training, Starlight Stadium takes players through the human rights monitoring cycle as they examine abuses occurring at a construction site in a fictional country, Balronia.
In a 15-minute tech demo, ODIHR experts on HRD capacity building will present Episode 4 of the game and describe its value for those seeking to learn more about human rights monitoring and advocacy. The ODIHR presentation will take place within an hour-long demo session that will start at 12:45 CEST (GMT +2).
Episode 4 requires players to manage a human rights advocacy campaign while considering differing needs of stakeholders and their physical, digital and mental safety and security.
