About
The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is organizing a one-day event in Warsaw to raise awareness about the participation of women with disabilities in political and public life in Poland. The goal of the event is to create a platform for Polish civil society working on women and disability, the leadership of the main political parties, the Central Election Commission and the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Persons with Disabilities to gather and brainstorm measures that can be taken to make political and public life more accessible to women with disabilities.
The event will be facilitated by ODIHR gender equality, disability and elections advisors and by experts on political participation of women with disabilities in Poland.
Participation in this event is by invitation only.
