Attention: application deadline extended!
Part of ODIHR’s project “Advancing the Human Dimension of Security in Ukraine”, the training event is designed for Roma human rights defenders working on issues related to the human rights of Roma, with a focus on human rights defenders from western Ukraine. The training event aims to enable Roma human rights defenders to independently carry out high quality and objective human rights monitoring and reporting, including on hate motivated incidents and hate crimes targeted at Roma. The four-day training event focuses on the human rights monitoring cycle and principles as well as on core principles of human rights advocacy and of working with state actors.
Application forms together with CVs should be sent by 13 September 2019, 23:59 CET to Ukraine-CSproject@odihr.pl. In the selection particular importance is attached to gender diversity among participants, representation of Roma women's rights activists and participants from different age groups, including Roma youth. Roma human rights defenders from western Ukraine are especially encouraged to apply.
