About
On 13 and 14 June 2019, ODIHR will host a meeting with national focal points for election observation. The meeting will focus on good practices related to the secondment and deployment of election observers. The main topics of discussion will be the selection of observers and updates on the Election Expert Database, the conduct and professional behaviour of observers, the evaluation of long-term observers and the training of observers.
OSCE participating States have tasked ODIHR to ensure the independence, impartiality and professionalism of its election observation activities, while also emphasizing that participating States play an important role in contributing to the integrity of electoral processes by seconding observers.
