Brochure
Effective Participation and Representation in Democratic Societies
A booklet outlining the ODIHR's main activities in increasing the participation of citizens in democratic processes.
The OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) conducts a range of activities aimed at increasing the participation of citizens - especially women - in the democratic process, while also paying particular attention to under-represented groups such as Roma and Sinti. In assisting OSCE states with democratic institution-building, the ODIHR aims to help governments become more responsive, responsible, and representative. This eight-page booklet outlines the ODIHR's main activities in this area.
