The OSCE is founded on the concept that the protection and promotion of human rights is a precondition for security. Civil society plays a vital role in safeguarding democracy and human rights, and ODIHR works closely with civil society organizations, creating a space for dialogue, training, joint projects and safe platforms for exchange.

Together, we build stronger democracies, protect rights and ensure that no voice is left unheard across the OSCE region.

ODIHR offers courses and learning resources to support civil society and other practitioners across the OSCE region in carrying out their work.
